Storage Instructions:

Store lyophilized (powdered) botulinum toxin in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F). Keep the vial in its original packaging, away from light and moisture, and ensure it remains sealed until ready for use.

Do not freeze the product, as freezing may damage the toxin’s structure. Use sterile techniques when reconstituting with preservative-free saline or as per manufacturer’s recommendation.

After reconstitution, botulinum toxin should be stored in the refrigerator and used within 24 to 48 hours, depending on the brand and formulation. Do not shake the vial vigorously after mixing, as it may reduce potency.

Dispose of any unused or expired product as per medical waste guidelines. Always store it out of the reach of children, and handle only under trained medical supervision.
